Hello I'm looking for a nice pair of cans mainly for gaming/music. I have about USD$110. I looked at 5.1 headphones but most source says it's a gimmick so I'll be taking suggestions for stereo headphones as well!

Got Denon AH-D1001 a couple of months ago and I'm pretty satisfied with them. They sound good enough (especially after burn in) and are really comfortable to wear.

with "music" do you mean "making music" or "listening to music"?

I love my AKG K-240 Studio. No 5.1 or other gimmicks, just beautiful sound. Oh, and it has a replaceable cable.

Get some Grado SR60s, they get you the biggest bang for the buck in your budget. They also have a quite good reputation amongst those who call themselves audiophiles. Mind they are of the open type, so you'll entertain your surroundings while listening.

Have these. Great sound. Fits nicely under the earmuffs necessary to go to demoparties where bass or ultrasound are playing.
