I'm unable to watch the main bptv stream. Regardless of the browser (IE, FF, Opera), I only get "Server not found: rtmp://breakpoint.scene.org/live". I've already updated Flash just to be sure. VLC doesn't work either, but I've never really tried to watch an rtmp stream with VLC before.

The two lo-fi streams from http://www.cyraxx.de/bp2010/ *are* working fine, however.

For what it's worth, I was also unable to watch the live BP stream last year as well until the US mirror was added. The US mirror worked just fine for me.

I have no idea if it matters at all, but with me being in Japan, is it possible there is some kind of firewall or other weird network blocking going on? I know I don't have anything actively blocking on my side that would be causing this.

Any suggestions or ideas would be very welcome. :)

bpoint: did you try using public proxies to verify if it's not your isp blocking you? the stream has been working fine for me since the morning.

kbi: As far as I can tell, my ISP doesn't block anything. I've never run into a situation where I couldn't connect to something because of my ISP. That being said, though, I will try a public proxy just to see if it works.

What's weird is that I can open a connection to the rtmp server just fine, though...

For those of you who do have the stream running, can one of you do a netstat -an and see if there's an active connection to 145.24.145.121:1935, please? :)

saga: no. our main relay for the stream is scene.org, not unet.
