jazz: you sleep under your desk, is that clear sir?

sleeping under the tables isn't that much of a problem anyways. Just get earplugs and sleep between 4:00 -> 12:00 (night/morning). Drinking helps too ;_)

jazz: the second option is, you can drink "enough" and get your very own personal and private sleeping room in the showers, kindly assisted to the place by organizers even!

regarding the sleeping hall: is it possible to buy earplugs at the party since me, the genius, missed the stores today and actually thought there WAS a sleeping hall :)

I have been sleeping at hotels the last few times, but this year I'm so poor that only the fact that I prepaid the bus made me go ahead :)

Does anyone know if there are any rules or whatever concerning the turntables at bp? I know there's been a setup past few years, and I'm considering bringing vinyl with me, but it depends on wether or not I'll get to actually use it (:

Would there be anyone willing to bring a soldering iron with an incredibly small tip with them?

Would be much appreciated (by means of a free beer :P)
nic0: Free Earplugs are available at the infodesk, of course.

koeki, numtek: Please mail breakpoint2010@untergrund.net, and include a link to a mp3 of a live mix of yours. Also indicate what style you would like to play. We only have a few daytime slots left, and Yoda will decide based on quality.

Christoph680: We might have that here, depending on your definition of "incredbily small".

Christoph680:: Ok, asked back, yes, we have that available in the organizers area.

mod/nekomono: im also too poor to donate 250 - however smaller donations like last year might be interesting.

too bad, there aren't such a scene.org donation page like in the last year.
Maybe I can donate some beer, just ask me. :D

I started my entry for the 96k game contest on linux, and now I wonder if I can submit it as is, or if I must port it to windows (finish/polish the game <-> porting).

The info at the website says that the 64k intro must be for windows, but has no platform limitations for 96k games.

If linux is ok, I suppose I have to provide a machine that runs the game. Then my doubt will be what set of libraries are not considered cheating?

one day to go! \o/ woooo
and i'm clicking too fast
lemoniac: 96k has same rule as Wild compos, e.g. use whatever platform you want as long as we can connect it to the projector. :)

for linux libraries that are definitely allowed are libc, libm, zlib, SDL (plus dependencies), Xlib (plus "related" libs), GL and GLU. anything beyond that is okay as long as it can be reasonably expected to exist on any linux box with 3D acceleration and sound - we'll decide this on a case-by-case basis.
