depends what you're doing i suppose.. for a lot of stuff, keyboard only is faster, but for this kind of thing i think it would be slow and cumbersome. I tend to work on the UI, graphics and code together...
I usually get a metaphorical amount of sand in my (hypothetical) vagina concerning the fact that the menu bar of my window on display #2 is at the top of display #1. It never gets old.
It is a bit.. odd. I've kind of got used to having a 'main' and 'secondary' screen in most cases, but it still involves extra mouse travel. Then again, what're the options? A giant menu bar, with the app menus still always on one screen and only the clock on the other? Or duplicate menu bars? I've yet to see it 'done right' with the windows task bar too, but at least there it's not used quite so much.

Speaking as an ex-Apple guy (owned Apple computers exclusively for a good two years), I can say that while their computers are fun, they are extremely limiting. When opening up port 113 to get on IRC is a chore, you know you have a problem (opening is easy, getting identD to work is the hard part).

psonice, my experiences come from fairy simple setup - photoshop, apple motion, browser, messenger etc. its 'lovely' to see sliding spaces on 27 inch display (truly eye cancerous / dizzynes generator) and letting it loose various windows on different spaces - palettes, other open documents, messenger being assigned to who knows which one.
initial idea was almost amiga screenish one, but the execution ... construction of mac apps is also to blame here, with photoshop being as main example - reminds me usability of gimp before backdrop window was added. windows from other app shining from benneath... uh oh, please. feels as amateurish approach as early workbench.
id be glad to see some simple additions like window snapping, some consequence in minimalising the windows to dock, ability to really CLOSE application with close button (without stupid apple+q), and consequence in using keyboard also (with main example - a shuttown dialog, unable to be navigated by cursor keys). till then i'll stick with predictable xp behavior (and ability to customize it).
as for touchscreen, i've been using touschcreens up to 17" size and believe me - there is light pen syndrome, it is really fun but if monitor is vertical position it lasts 5 minutes, then you get simply tired and look as stupid as tom cruise. it would be nice to have one touchscreen laying horizontal, with some resonable size, but for sure nothing really big - just a space for navigation with gestures, keyboard, midi osc and so on.

The Mac OS interface paradigm started out not needing to think about such luxuries and they never changed it. People whine about Ultramon-alike solutions, but hey -that's impossible because the whole dock + menubar combo is nowhere near the same as the windows taskbar.

I got a Palm Pre. I think its a lot nicer than my wife's iPhone. Take that, apple.

The pre looks good, in many ways better than the iphone (the OS at least, I've still not seen an actual pre in the wild). Palm are in pretty deep trouble though, I suspect that they'll either disappear or get bought before long, which is a real shitter as I like palm.
Better get yourself a pre while you still can, then ;-)
I've had this one for two days now and so far I love it. I even saw a big advert for it when I went to the cinema recently so they are starting to market it properly. Also they have just announced the pre plus.
