Demovibes - electronic grooves from the bigscreen
category: music [glöplog]
fixed.
vol2 is perfect for driving on highways to!
better tunes than on the first compilation, but i find it strange that with such a beat-focused selection the mixing seems to be limited to simple fading out and in, not beatmixing.
gloom: beatmixing isn't very respectful of the original works...
and i prefer harmony mixing =)
I'm pretty excited, I've been hearing good things about DV2.
128kb/s download. . .

zest: i'm not talking about stacking up bd against bd in a long and boring transition, but more of a blended mix would be nice. though - i still like it the way it is. :)
i'd like to see a gloomified beatmix of some faster-paced demotunes.
i like listening to demotunes in my car :-)

i suppose next coolio-project would be to mix the demo-visuals in an avi with the tunes mixed too :-)
I love both Demovibes. Excellent music to listen while coding at work :)
btw can we influence on the content of the last volume ? i want 303 and Toypusher hymns ! :p
I already have a tight selection for Demovibes 3, but i'm still open to suggestions =)
then why not another Little Bitchard gem also ? the one in Simulaatio2 invitro is an unmissable anthem :)
it's not released yet, but sweetlove from okkie MUST BE ON IT.
shifter: how about if we create our own dutch gabber demovibes? :)
mfx-slux.zip out48.xm please!!
@ willbe: Good job. I really like your compilation!
eh shift, don't you think i need to finish it first.. and i haven't heard from uncle-x since i sent it to him... o_O
Demovibes can be burned with Nero (if you have only nero express, use a better serial to unlock it ;] ), i use v5.5.9.9 (cdrwin did not recognise my burner :[ )
open cue file in 'burn image' menu, wait looong time (about 5 true minutes, system seems to be crashed, but simply wait), and burn your disc
in demovibes2.cue, Nero say 2 problems in lines (i don't know why, but it is a working solution):
line 58:
INDEX 01 39:12:97
replace with
INDEX 01 39:13:00
line 73:
INDEX 01 50:06:93
replace with
INDEX 01 50:07:00

okie Zone, cue fixed again...
Thanks a lot !
Thanks a lot !
Zone: it's because Willbe uses a frame (mm:ss:ff) as 1/100s while common format is 1/75 (strange isn't it?). As we don't need a 10ms precision your soluce is good. As far as i'm concerned i've used Cuemaster to convert the cue.
Oh, slight mistake in track 5: the author is Nudge, and it's Alien Prophets, not Prophet.
I wonder what the topic of DV3 will be... early 90ies demopop? funk? really looking forward to it...
BTW: Groo's Closer soundtrack should be on it, most evil demo track ever ;)

for 'early 90ies demopop', i recommend you to get retrovibes... check the ojuice news for the url :)
