A new blog about what we're up to. I'll try and update it regularly!
An even bigger project than Lifeforce? Hats off, I subscribed :)
Cool. I take it it will be 'spoiler free'?
the butler did it.
eh yes, no spoilers as in screenshots, videos etc. I would like, though, to talk about technology, dos and donts and how my life is affected by the demo and vice versa.
Yeah, no spoilers please. The rest is fun to read (unless there is a post about your divorce at some point, please try to avoid that :)
ehm yes that's a good point. Wife, if you are reading this, it is news to you.
It will all be over very soon.

At first, I was enthusiastic with mine and wrote several blog posts about various topics.
Then I used the blog to keep track of sites and other blog posts that picked up my attention when doing technology watching (or put in a less pompous way: following various rss feeds).
Then my site/blog faded out.
Anyway, I added yours to my rss reader and I'm looking forward to reading your prose!

O-oh. :)
I'm sorry Navis -- I respect ASD, you and your demos but blogging about "the progress of your new production", even IF people are gonna read it, is a bit too much rockstar.
i second my dutch companion
What's the problem? It could be fun to read. Let's enjoy why not?
So far there's absolutely nothing there that goes beyond the regular run-of-the-mill blog. If you take for example Smash's blog on blunderbuss, now *that* was interesting to read (at least to me it was). So if that kind of content starts to show up, I'll immediately retract my criticism. On the other hand I kinda figure that you don't wanna be giving away your content before the actual compo, so.. :)
Well, yes. There does need to be interesting content, but that's usually the case. In that respect, it does seem a little early to be talking about a new blog when there's nothing there yet.
In the meanwhile I'll be taking pennies from the tray -- you know, the pennies for everyone.

How so? Other people like Smash have made really damn informative and interesting blogs about their productions, I am sure Navis will drop some gold nuggets too on the way.even IF people are gonna read it, is a bit too much rockstar.
I too will take penis from the tray.
graga: content first, link second. see what i mean?
sag: lets grab together. it'll be a festive way of spending our day.

I shall bring some stepped-on confetti and off-brand liquor.

Ehm? this is a blog about the demoscene from my point of view, and I happen to be making a demo these days so some of the emphasis will be on that as well. I want to talk about technology, coding, modeling, other demos and influences, history etc.
It is not so much about "Oh today I finished this great scene that looks like that [screenshot]" but rather about "this technique revealed in demo XYZ from breakpoint was really cool. I wonder if it is done like that...".
Don't forget that people outside the scene (/pouet) may be reading (and the blog was originally conceived for those very specific people). For them it may be worth more than the final demo itself.
posts or didnt happen!!!
well - if you do just that, i'll be more than happy to read about it. just wanted to get that cleared up :) so lets see what happens. good luck with the demo btw.
What about asd.gr, btw?
