• Palm essentially abandoned their existing software library with WebOS. They may include some sort of emulator eventually.
  
• Blackberry is overmarketed and should have died in a fire when other OS's had email sync and thumbboards. Only recently had they started incorporating touch screens.
  
• Don't get me started on Apple
  
• Android simply has no history behind it
  

I wish these guys would say "Software Library" instead of "Apps" or "App Store". It is getting irritating.
