Reading this thread makes me yearn back to the day when there was a big ol' television on every table corner at demoparties, showing any sort of bizarre, hardcore porn. Not because people were sexually aroused by it (I guess, I can mainly speak for myself)) but more as a sort of test of how much one can take. I guess this was back in the 90s before childporn was prohibited in Denmark. I even remember a scener who thought that prohibiting it was very wrong, thus ending up in some heated discussions with some people.
And Wade, come on, no scener should report another scener to the police/authorities unless it's for theft, murder or violence. It's totally against the origin and spirit of the scene. Maybe you've been in the UK for too long - the BBC even has warnings about swearing and sexual humour before their shows these days.

ATH500 is not a scener, plus he was the one who maliciously attacked Pouet with a spam script. As I've explained to Gargaj and numerous people here, I didn't report Pouet to get Pouet into trouble, my intention was to point the IWF to a lead, which they could then follow to the source. That is to say, I credited them as intelligent individuals who could tell the difference between a scene site that had been sabotaged by some idiot and the original host and uploader of this material.

Who else benefits from lowering the age of consent (straight or gay) from 18 to 16? Ironically, 16 year olds don't even get a say in the matter and you don't see many politicians campaigning for their right to vote.
For the record, I've just had an update from IWF who stated they are NOT pursuing Pouet as there was no child porn found here, but Interpol are investigating the source of the material.

Doom: I did say before that the report was not a case of getting rid of the images because they offended me. The very reason it stirred such a strong emotional reaction in me and the need to do something (anything) is because I empathise with the kids involved. There's nothing worse than child abuse in my opinion and if it was upto me I'd have all paedophiles removed from existence.
