There is a reason I am 100% humorless about this. My country has used the occation to go all out fascist state and it is becoming increasingly obvious that the weather and good old self loathing will pave the way for much, much more of this. Even if the science is spot on after all the random handling and adjustment on adjustment of data, the politics surrounding it is of a nature that has no stopping mechanism. it will and does not know when to back off again.

That's great! what is not so great is that you must suffer from dementia or Schizophrenia since there is pro's, con's and everything in between. No clear consensus (just like among the scientists, funny how the ivory tower mimics real life some times).

yeah? I am SO happy for global warming. parts of Denmark are closed of due to snow (Fyen) and here in Copenhagen it looks like it is going that way as well. As we speak I have 10cm+ of fresh snow outside the window and it is freezing bollox! If it wasn't for global warming we would have been completely covered.
Since snow is actually kind of unusual in Denmark (we haven't had proper winter for 10 years+ and last white christmass was in 1995) we are told that the reason it snows is....wait for it.....wait for it.....AGW!

yep, well, it's pretty common here in the uk. we had it last year, and the year before that, and the previous one, and...well, you get my point. In fact 2008 was the coolest year on record but apparently our experts told us that thats "no evidence of a slowed rate of GW". :P

i agree. apparently, even the creation of snow relys not just on constant cold temperatures but also the movement into and out of warmer regions. real weather is affected by lots of stuff: airpressure, humidity, wind speed, sub weather systems, sub atmospheric temps/pressure, complex interactions of chemicals, solar energy, ions, and probably a whole lot more besides (which even teh scientists are not fully aware of).
however, more recent research has proven that only the quantity of CO2 emitted by humans is affecting our climate.

And I am sick and tired of you folks strawmen. Could you get them all out now that were at it? I spend weeks going through piles of crap, articles, commentaries, etc.. you come in and in and have a look at ONE. UNO, EINZ, A single one of all the puzzle pieces on the table atm. Still enough for you to draw an opinion clearly set in stone. So forgive me if I am ever so slightly sceptical of your -no doubt remarkable- research skills when you reach conclusions that fast on a single piece of information from a whole pile?
