Help Conveying Artistic Concept Simply...

We have a concept here which needs to be conveyed as effectively as possible, I would appreciate any conceptual assistance in the layout and presentation of this high-profile theme and topic, as my artistic capacity is dependent on rendering point fields, rather than presenting flat imagery.

The critical concept, is to convey that THE FLOWERS are the same color and style as THE FLOWERS.
There are sufficient images to understand the simplicity, however even the cleanest method I can come up with, a simple symmetrical arc on both sides condensing to a comparison between a blue hat flowers and a tablecloth to a blue rim flowers and the rest of the paint job on the smoke stacks of the boat. It just won't fit as a website using the required resolution images to actually see the flowers. Adding photo images to line/vector/pixle art around the outside is most logical, but this depends on a very simple and COHERENT exhibition that...
flowers == flowers.
I'll base the rest of the presentation's complexity on the result of this first analysis...

If I understand the question correctly, the standard Pouet convention for indicating "entity X is the same style and colour as entity Y" is as follows:

You need a design that functions as a bridge between the boat and the table layout. Something that distils the theme to its core and points out the connection without explicitly referencing it, so your audience can discover the link by themselves. It could simply be a stylized single purple flower.

The bigger problem, is that the target audience is somewhat... ummm... oriented toward political and institutional concepts, so getting a point across beyond "its a flower" is ... challenging.
Kinda like Obama's Cyber-Security concerns... If someone would just teach whiteboy how to count and do range verification and operation sequence checks, none of their cyber-stupidity frauds would ever have been a problem...
