The (random) girl was Anna Bertha, wife of Wilhelm Röntgen, the man who did make the discovery of X-rays. When she saw her skeleton she exclaimed "AHHH! I have seen my death!" or something like that.
Of course, the ring is the hardware.
That's interesting, I was under the impression that she exclaimed "That's fucking leet!"

Concerning SSDs there's a simple choice: Intel or Indilinx are the only really good controllers. Samsung is ok, and avoid JMicron at any cost, which is high.
