Anyone have any interest in competing with QBasic or XGameStation basic?

Yeah, antique, I know... but I'm curious just how far one can push with basic, and these are two easily obtainable versions.

Haha, ive made a bad demo with Qbasic.. But anyways, im not a coder :P So i dont think i will compete ;)

There was a Basic compo at Altparty 2004. We made a VERY bad demo.

i ripped some qbasic sources and claimed the result was mine :(

Even I (!!!) did something with QBasic a while back. :) Too sad I stole most of the sources, haha.

Years ago I made a quick basic program that measured and loaded material in a factory that produced concrete. It effectively gave commands to start big machines that made a lot of noise.

Later I went to college, I was introduced to Pascal and C and learnt programming.

Who cares about "serious" programming? Quickbasic is fun!!! =)

Quickbasic4.5 is faster than Visual Basic :)
Every VISUALsomething is bloated like horseshit!!!

visual basic is 2 times slower than quickbasic 4.5. Which is 10 times slower than *anything* else. I mean, wow!
