We need your help for the upcoming Mudia Art issue by Alcatraz.

Many have requested more articles and texts about scene talents, pixel graphics and music.

Hence we are looking for graphicans & musicians with a keen critical eye who would like to review pictures and tracks from the latest scene parties. Depending on the size of the party and the number of releases, it would make sense to just comment on the top 5 or 10 entries. We are looking for comments about the technical aspect, creativity, originality, and more. Long or short texts are welcome.

The outcome will be published in the next issue of Mudia Art. Deadline is 30th of November.

i feel really sry, if this thread just gets pouetized...for the scene at all !

we, the sceners just know how much we love to have some interface to fuck with to have some real inside_stuff going !
so, pleeze ppl....i cannot say im any musician nor i can say i am any good coder at all..and just forget about my tries at grafixx at all !

but scene needs sth as good as MudiaArt ! it seems like the best concept ever to me !
( by having read lots of diskmags and most of em discussing the techniques behind this and that coding-technique mostly....where did the real art-magicians went in this ? the musicians and graphicians i am talking of em ofcoz !?? )

so sceners == graphicians == musicians == coders_aswell_ofcoz ( send in your silly stories of how you managed to make a demo with your idiotic artsy friends ;) ) :

why do you have no time for your favourite_hobby anymore ? just one short story, or some pictures, musics ?? cant be that hard !


also i guess every scener has its chance, even if hes no old fart or just had one demo to live in with his soundtrack or grafixx !

you know what? even i feel as if i could need some interview already, but as i´m planning otherwise......

Once again I hope that some more scener will try to send us some more feedback.
Many of you complain that there is to less content in Mudia Art. So now you have the possibiity to change that !

If we don´t get some more feedback you can´t complain to less content. Easy ;)

To less feedback brings me the one and only decision that sceners are not interested in it, which makes me wonder cause I always thought the demoscene is a full place of creative graphicans and musicians.

In my oppinion a still underated topic. Mudia Art could be that platform for YOU Musicians and graphicans. So take some minutes to write us back. Thanx!

Two things:

1. Same goes for charts. People complain about how representative or better to say UNrepresentative charts have become/are these days (f.ex. due to too few voters)-> that is because they are obsolete; everything worth or not worth discussing or judging about is already done in here, short-term and all-time charts included. period.

2. Judging about the quality of music or GFX done for a certain prod also already happens in here, even if not in detail of course. Regarding details, I´d be curious if any (reputated) musician or GFX-guy would want to judge about the work of a colleague in detail ......... eine Krähe hackt der anderen kein Auge aus ;)

Are there any graphicians left in the scene? And all the musicians have gone commercial.
