so, gloom - what time are you guys going to make it to the centre of town? im free from around 6pm.

Freaky - I was just about to revive this thread :) Six-seven-ish sounds good. I'm getting in much earlier than that, but my brother is studying nearby and he's never been to London so we'll be "around" the city all day. Our hotel is right across the river from the O2 - do you know any good pubs/places around there, or do you have somewhere planned already?

gloom: the best thing would be to get to central london.. soho :) (e.g. oxford circus or piccadilly tube)

btw, gloom, what's your preference? (old man) pub or (trendy) bar?

if it's still on I'm planning to come. Only I babysit till about 5.30 so it's another 2 hours for me to get there from Oxford. But you'll there :-)

Smash: I actually have no preferance - I like both kinds of places, but if we are indeed gathering a small group of people, somewhere with a noise-level that still makes it possible to talk would be good. Oh, and there is no problem getting to Soho I guess.

what times can people be there then - it sounds like somewhere around 7 most people will be there, is anyone free earlier? (ill be bored sitting around the office for an hour :( )

7pm is about the time i will get there you are right, i think MrNibbles is going to be around earlier, and possibly that homeless guy he found on the street, i think his name was Parapete... I'll refer MrNibbles to this thread so he can say when he's around himself :)
