lugoober, seeing that demomakers hardly ever add entirely new tech requirements and whatnot to demos in the last five hours, i don't get your point about deadlines. just communicate with your audience, ask everyone to send in *some* version before the deadline.
you'll typically actually get these entries about half an hour after that deadline. test those prods. if they look really fucked, ask the authors if it's supposed to be that unfinished or if it's art by any chance.
just make sure they know that nothing is tested after the deadline, but that they can send updates until e.g. ah hour before the compo. you'll have a smooth compo and happy competers. this worked great for us at four subsequent Outlines.

then again, if they delivered something half an hour before the compo, and it broke, they knew damn well we would just throw it out.
then again, we got graphics entered to the music compo, so... :P

I am the socalled "poor guy" that happend to be victim of the belts. I have admit it was quite an unpleasent suprise. Not because the socalled strangling was so bad, but rather the fear of being held down and hit by the belts. I soon realized this was their of telling me not to poste their naked bellies, that I had potographed earlyer that night, on slengpung. I wound't have done that anyway. That shit is explicit content.
Otherwise a great party. I loved:
- The music compo. I am in the mood for dancing.
- Darklite bringing good mood even while sober. I love you guys.
- "That guy" showing me how to do 3D fractals with Lsystems, and Wictoria showing me what brushes she uses when winning graphic compos.
- Seeing old friends return to these parties. Especially Quarryman, Duckers and gargaj.
The best solskogen so far. keep them coming.
I'm speechless. I don't remember any of this at all. I am so very, very sorry. Please forgive me.
