what are you ppl talking about. the demoscene is the center of being. What is on everybody's lips.

I hate this kind of attitude, "let's speak to the public like they were 12-year olds!".
It's only a form of elitism, not really trying to get people to scene, but to boast one's excellence. If you've got something to say and you want to say it, just say it and cut the buzzwords.

I think that the term "digital art(work)" is somewhat appropriate, while "cyberculture" sounds so pseudo that it hurts. :)
tomaes: imo 'digital art' is also such a loaded term that using it to describe the demoscene to the general public is rather pointless....
