abuse@ev1servers.net?
fuck you, spammer-bastard.
This happens when the demoscene is exposed to the "outside world" :)
crack it and next time he will think twice
and with the added magic of scene-id, we can expect this to affect all affilates :)
shifter: good part with sceneid is that with SceneIDs we technically could block spammers from all sites and then automatically remove all posts by them on ALL sites :)
where are the fuckin moders ? we need some to clean up the shit :)))))))
RAAH! EVIL SPAMMERS! NOW THEY'VE COME TO POUET TOO! WE'RE ALL DOOMED!
stefan: problem remains that it's dirt easy to obtain new IDs. Wipe one account, see another pop up elsewhere. :)
Spammers makes me think that there exists something worse than all the lamers at Pouet :P
yes, there are actually worse threads than "how optimus feels today". :)
shifter:
It's not that easy if SceneID database starts to ban hostnames.. And its not more simple to spam a site using SceneID than one not using it.. Since there is no automation for logging into the sites, ie the controllers doesnt have the same name etc meaning they have to write different spambots for each site.
Acctually, i think the SceneID shit is good, since if one hoster mark one as a spammer and then another agrees (or an admin at scene.org) then it wipes everywhere + ban host , if the problem remains the ISP must go for signing up accounts. Wich isnt such a biggy really :)
