There are way too much PC only parties out there, is there a console only party out there? Would be a cool nice idea, won't it?

P.S.: If you gonna write single post like "Consoles are shit!" or something like that, please go to your grandma and tell her, she is more interesting in your crap than I am.

But are party people gonna code demos or play games then? And they would need at least a PC to code for consoles. So, it would look like a PC demoparty :)

I think I have seen console demos on big screen. Also, PC only parties are not PC only. You can see dudes with C64, Oric, Xbox or GBA at PC parties. I would like to see more console demomaking dudes too.

practically all newschool demoparties accept console entries, either in some combined compo or in some special console compo. also, there are way too few proper console demos to play only console demos all party without showing the same crap every hour. in other words: visit a pc party and code on a console.

Sir Richard, exactly what I wanted to know, I know that there are way too less new console demos but you could make a concole party once a year which gives you a flashback on other demos of the laft 20 years as well...

All one-platform-only parties are shait.

But CPC (or Z80) only meeting 2 ruled. The organizer told me of stories of old CPC meetings where someone brought a C64 and they used it as a doorstopper. Then, someone put it in the oven!!! Smokes everywhere and what was left was a melted C64. Yep,. I see that in CPC meetings there is too much C64 hatred, but I enjoyed that at the meeting (Someone had raped a C64 console, to use it as a box for his 3,5" disk on the CPC, har har har har!!!)

What is cool about consoles is that they are "standard" hardware, so every demo made for it has the same requirements (and a "limit")
