Anybody has any idea what was all the drama thing about?

What an awesome party and massive props to the bp-organizers and puryx for the danish-schranz-bus trip!

Cozy atmosphere and great ppl + danish ownage in the compo's ;)

4k was really the highlight of the show.

Too bad with the pc-demo compo. So many entries and so few worth looking at. There were alot of talent and nice effects in there, but the demos lacked themes and were not well put together and often used slow FX with no timing to fast paced music..

NeonEye: - yes HBC deserved the win, but us loosing was a highlight of BP ? :\

For the organizers: next time please please show the Final image first in the GFX compo's and NOT the 1. step of the picture. It really screws over the artists (esp. 2d stuff) when the first impression is a crude sketch.

Also alot of great artwork with no thumbnails really got owned in the voting there..

This might very well be the best party I've ever missed ;).

Ah well... I won't whine. Everyone has to make their own decisions in life. Even crappy ones ;D. I'm glad everyone seems to have had such a good time! Sorry I didn't make it.

PUNCHED in the balls. There's quite a difference you know. Kicking is so impersonal ;).

(although, I'm sure my charming personality could very well had made someone kick me in the balls too... I tend to have that effect on people... Especially when there's alcohol involved ;))

Trenox, no. it wasn't a positive hilite. I had somehow hoped you would win in one of the categories.

Yes, I had fun. It was, after all, pretty awesome, as always. But more than one Breakpoint per year would probably kill me. I.. am.. too.. old.. for.. this. The only sucky part about the party, with the exception of the inevitable hangover(s), was when *ahem* someone puked on my macbook pro and on some other stuff and I had to spend a bit of perfectly good intoxicating liquid to get the stains off. Please don't drink like that if you can't handle it. Thanks.

Also, the gfx card I won got me special attention in airport security. Happily not that special but.. (and I repeat my question from a few pages back, what exactly is the gfx card I got? It's big and mean and huge and probably consumes more electricity than the rest of my electrical appliances put together, but it doesn't say what it is)

We gave out 3 types of graphic cards:

- Quadro CX (insane badass stuff, see http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_quadro_cx_us.html)
- GTX 295 (dual-GPU, worth ~500 Euros)
- 9800 GX2 (dual-GPU, worth ~300 Euros)

Google images will probably help to find out which one you've got ;)

should be a GTX295, the others were labeled. and it should include one of our custom-soldered 2-pin "6-pin-to-8-pin converter" power plugs from the "don't ask" image in the package. :)

Yeah, thanks :) I'm gonna try it out soon, just need to check that my power supply and case cooling is up to the task. That thing looks evil.

The GTX295 is more like 300w (284 officially, but 320 in furmark). I'm also a bit concerned about testing the one I got with my 550w psu.
Hardware wise the QuadroCX is around a GTX260, but ofcourse much better in the applications the Quadro drivers are optimized for.

But anyway, thanks for a fantastic party (again).

-Worst bartender ever (the old man..hehe....I laughed my ass off each time someone ordered anything but a beer from him. He passed over the work to the girl in the bar. Vodka redbull sure is a tricky drink to make.
(The other dude and the girl did a great job though)
-Small kids running around (seemingly somewhat unsupervised) amongst a bunch of piss-drunk sceners.

Again thanks to Scamp, all orgas, and everyone else at BP for putting together such an great party. It was really great to see a lot of sceners again and met a lot of people I missed last year who were all extremely awesome.

I also realize I whipped out my bottle of venezuelan rum too late, everyone was all boozed out by Sunday. Will *not* make that mistake next time.

You know what that means ;)
