i'm mostly a freegan myself.

i don't see why people get so upset when vegans call them murderers for eating meat. if you eat meat, you ARE responsible for killing of that animal you're eating. if you can't accept that, then don't eat meat. in todays society production of food is so far away from people that we stop seeing meat products as actual animals. which sucks big time.
anyway, atleast vegans are more likely to THINK about what they are eating and why, instead of just going to local mcdonalds and supporting all the horrors it causes ( for animals AND humans)

Not to forget that they pollute the environment as well... and the exploitation of McDonalds employees even happens in the 1st world country. BBC reported about this back in April 2002, it was about 15 to 16 year old kids who had to work 15 hours a day until 2 o'clock in the morning, but nothing has changed in the minds of the consumers.

Thinking is soooo much exhausting, we should rather shut the fuck up and eat what's on the table.

McDonalds deals with Vietnames and Hong Kong factories (for the toys in their "Happy Meal"), where accidents back in 1997 and 2000 happend and many of the anyway exploited employees were poisoned.

If McDonald's is your definition of "eating meat", I can see why you became a vegetarian. There's nothing wrong about chopping up a nice fat chicken from your barn for dinner though. Tastes way better than that bio-industry crap too.

I eat fried pomme from mcdonalds that is vegan but I help exploiding people witt this, it is not ok I think.

... not to mention that it's not that cheap either

thom: I rarely meet Vegans who wish to be associated with that looniebin. I'm not saying animals shouldn't be treated better, in fact, I'm all for that. But an organization that tries to act retarted like this sure doesn't do favors to the cause of vegetarians, vegans or the animals. Unless making fun of these causes helps an inch.

If I were any of you guys, I'd stop immediately worrying about the validity of my views
concerning local/global catastrophies etc. having allegedly anything to do with 'em cowsie-
wowsies and whatnot. I'd be considerably more concerned about the unactual space between the
animals grazing in those tight metalbar-enforced "habitats". For has anyone of you lot ever
thought about the potential risk of those obtuse-minded obese beasts being thus in a good
position to easily form a sentient hivemind by forming stupid moo-thoughts and then aiming
those thoughts by the help of that steelcage so that they'll converge with those of other
tightly-packed herdanimals' thoughts, thus creating a web of self-assertive mooing!

Such a sentient super(hive)being could easily rule the world and it's other less substantial,
weak-minded beings by sheer power of thought. Having uttered this old fear of mine I'd like
to say that I'm a devoted meat-eater, and as such don't want to be among the first batch of
humans about to be turned into a) mindless krangs and b) slave labor to do all the hard work
for the cow-and-whatnot superbeings. I'll rather just eat their sorry asses/shins first,

Fucking animal rights this, animal rights that. There's shitloads of reasons for become vegetarian. Personally, it all started when i found a tumor in a chunk of meat. I've been a veggie-monster for over ten years now and never, I mean NEVER, has anmial rights or whatever, been a factor in my decisions.

What I fucking hate, and I mean HATE, is vegan fuckers who think the only good reason for being veggie is animal rights. I care about my own health more, thank you the fuck much.

Serious. There are many ways to become a Veggie, but I think nobody here said that you can't become a Veggie because you care for your health (vegetarian diet is proven the best), because it's a trend or whatever. That's your decision, not the decision of anyone else here.

What's going on my nerves are people who tells me they are doing it because they care about animal rights but aren't Vegans and won't realize the fact that Vegetarians causes animal exploitation as well.
