TCR is a permanent building site. Centre point should have been demolished years ago. I'll be coming in from Osterley but only live walking distance from the place.

Small report of the pubmeet (because I'm sitting at LHR Terminal 5 and am bored):

* Peak attendance: 9 people (which isn't shabby at all)
* Alcohol amount adequate for a Wednesday, still I haven't had the slightest hangover this morning. This has to "improve".
* ForestCre actually exists and uses a laptop without a keyboard. Weird. The actor that Shane sent to impersonate Parapete was a bit obvious tho.
* Obscure sushi places that noone except a few Japanese and Keito knows are gooood.
* So are London goth/metal girls for that matter. Visually spoken.
* Wasabi killed less people than anticipated. Next time, increase dosage.
* And in the end the UKScene guys are a cool bunch of people. Now if they managed to get their lazy asses off whatever they're sitting on for _themselves_ it'd be perfect :)

Forgot to take photos, but I've seen Keito pointing his mobile phone at people, so there's a small chance for visual proof.

Oh, I never actually read the whole thread, or I'd have discovered that this whole UK scene initiative actually took a non-UK scener to initiate. Bloody typical.

Supposedly there are demoscene pubmeets every week in Hamburg.

How about we increase from our once-yearly-in-budliegh and once-in-almost-never-in-London to at least once a month ;)

We used to have more regular pubmeets but they died out. We should probably start them back up - especially now that there's a possibility that I might actually able to attend them again
