Anyone seen the new video? Just wondering where they got their inspiration??? Maybe one of the last ASD demos like metamorphosis??

Metamorphosis is FAR better than that!
Pardon me, but OF COURSE METAMORPHOSIS IS BETTER! It just struck me that the video uses A LOT of demoish aspects and ASD´s Metamorphosis was the first to come to mind (in my case)... Don´t get me wrong - the original is always better. It´s just funny to see how strongly some artists are borrwing from the scene (or how mainstream the scene has become ;-)).
I don't think the Pet Shop Boys watch demos.

great song. the video didn't remind me of demoscene though - they have those kind of clips all the time on MTV - the whole atmosphere is not demosceniesh imho

The only part I see it has any similarity with Metamorphosis is the fractal'ish part, the one with the eyes, right after the 3D part.

The song sucks, as do 99% their songs. And yeah, Metamorphosis is way better.

anyway, this video is just pop-art. it's all over the net and in galleries. and the demoscene certainly isnt the leader of it.
