Hmmm, it would be nice, to have an "Ignore Optimus" mode here on pouet. I always enjoyed reading the BBS, but I'm really annoyed by the Optimus shit. It would be nice, to have another checkbox in the login, something like "Login for a year and filter out Optimus brainwank shit"...

In return I'm willing to donate some hardware for the pouet server, maybe you need a new HD or something like this.

@Optimus: Please get a life. Or better, get a girlfriend - Beate Uhse or Orion surely got some nice chicks for you, made from polyvinyl chloride and plasticiser...

don't bother, the whole 'get a life/girlfriend' issue was talked over a few months ago. You better just accept Optimus they way he is, telling him to get a life won't stop him and the idea of a filter is kinda harsh, innit...

Optimus is my hero. People like him annoy the shit out of people on webforums like this, and in the end they'll realize that webforums suck and that the interfaces of most newsclients are a 1000 times better than any existing webforum. If there was such a thing as news.pouet.net (and if news.scene.org would come back) then they could filter whatever they wanted to filter.

So keep on going Optimus, you're working for a good cause :-)

Dropping a Nuke over Greece would not be sensible in any way for two very important reasons:

1) Greeks may not be the best humans on the planet, but generaly they do not (I repeat) _they_do_not_ act like Optimus does. There are in fact some Greeks who are cool people. Killing them would be a pity.
2) Optimus (if I am not mistaken) currently resides in Germany, meaning that you would miss your primary target, while killing lots of innocent people in the process.

Another thing I would like to point out, is that an Optimus-only filter would be totally useless. He already uses several fake accounts that people would most probably like to filter-out too. I mean, it's so fucking curious how this thread went from top spot to no 14 in less than 12 hours while bringing so many forgotten (>2 years) threads above it.
