Even better than recommendations are actual contacts, IOW tell us about it after you've asked the band if they'd be interested in playing for free at Easter. And don't even suggest any band that would have to fly in from outside germany with equipment, that's unrealistic from a financial standpoint anyway.

nina & lug00ber: fair enough, I don't know the details of the Solskogen organizing =) imho it doesn't matter too much - I don't care if I have to pay 150 or 100 (or 200 or) to get into Solskogen, and if I knew that Solskogen couldn't afford to give me a free entry, then I wouldn't accept it anyway.

you could raise the beer price - the more you booze, the more you support the party then :)

What about a jam session?
Anyone who wants to play does it, and we can have music for the whole night/day/event.

I mean, just wait till jeenio's drunk enough and put him on stage with a few other drunk guys. In the next morning they won't even know what happened.

IMHO an open jam session has too high chance of displeasing the crowd. Of course, you can always boo people out, but they have to respect it then.
