Due to an error of the clerical-staff of our landlord the reservation for the traditional party-date had been lost. Since the hall is already booked for a concert at the 27th, we have to move back the party for one day.

The new date is 28.12. - 30.12.2008. We are again in Karlsruhe/Durlach where tUM took place the last three years.

We hope that this doesn't affect your decision to visit us this year.

Expect the website to be up and running within the next 4-8 Weeks.

how are you going to prepare the hall, when there's a concert running the day before (which will probably not be held around lunchtime? =)

Btw, thinking of staying in Frankfurt after the party and celebrate new years there. Any good tips on what to do in Frankfurt? Cocoon Club? :)

Also, when it comes to traveling from the airport to the partyplace, and later back to Frankfurt (and around in the Frankfurt area), any good saving tips on travel expenses? Like some kind of discount card or whatever?

On your question about non-germans: Yes, there will be non-germans present at the partyplace. There are even 6 belgians in the orga-team. And previous years there were lots of non-german visitors.

Unfortunately it is the reason why I can't visit TUM this year. I have only vacation on Saturday and Sunday. It's a pity since I'd have even had a compo entry...

The danish underpants brigade wont visit TUM this year :( - the train trip (11-13 hours each way) almost killed us last year, and from where we live there are no real (fast) alternatives to travel to Karlsruhe.
Anyway, I just want to point out thatTUM as party itself is a nice and cozy party that I would like to visit again, if the acces from where I live gets easier :)

Puryx: Check the flyplans from Ryanair and Air Berlin. Karlsruhe has an airport.

The entrance fee for boys and girls will be 35 Euro, just as last year.

Then you have to pay 50% of the entrance fee for boys (35 Euro) and 50% of the entrance fee for girls (35 Euro).
