cbmlink+pc64 cable?

Gyah!
I'm trying to get the "real" cbmlink server onto my C64...
I have the type-in program loaded, "waiting for command".
The PC transfers plain.prg to memory addresses 52224-52658
The documentation says after that, I'm supposed to type SYS52224, and then I /should/ be running the real cbmlink server...
Problem...Am I supposed to do something in between those last two steps? After the load, it's once again "waiting for command"...just typing SYS52224 into that does nothing (which I expected. So I press RUN/STOP, and type SYS52224, and then LIST...the type-in is still in RAM. If I type RUN, the type-in still loads. So...what am I missing?

A better Icon ;-)
its a cbmlink _server_, you ought to fire off the cbmlink client on the pc, to read/write data

I'm aware that it's a server on the C64.
And, of course, typing C64 commands on the PC isn't going to do a thing.
