Volk is one of the worst Laibach albums, in my opinion.
Pleasurable listening to, and also beautiful produced, but i prefer other Laibach albums,for example:



Slovenska Akropola, 1987...woth the awesome track DIE LIEBE.

as a concept album Volk is great: it blends all the weedy eurovision song shit with communist 'folk' anthems. it stays absolutely true to laibach's ideas. however, i think it's terrible to listen to. i hate song festival and smooth communist folk stuff.

Opus Dei or Rekapitulacija are harder and darker sounding: my faves.

This town needs guns.
