Been trying to get Asm-pro running in UAE but I always get a Software failure right after the initial screen appears... any one know what is needed?

Installing Snoopdos in uae, and make it write a logfile until crash, might give you the answer.

I think I need an older version of reqtools.library (running under kick 2.0) - but I am having trouble locating one...

Copy "ExoticRipper/LIBS/reqtools13.library" from the archive to "Libs:reqtools.library".

Yeah, asmpro works with Kickstart 3 - but I don't know if it's reqtools or asmpro that requires it. I am using reqtools 2.2 which should work on Kickstart 2.

There are A500 Kickstart 3.0 and 3.1 versions that run on 68000.

That was my first thought, too. Why Kickstart 2.0?

Mainly because I couldn't find a Kickstart 3.0+ that worked on 68000 - I want to be able to assemble and run on a plain OCS Amiga 500 (The REAL Amiga :)

I found a kickstart-collection, but the included Kickstart 3.0 for A500/A600 did not work (at least not in UAE)...

Heh. WinUAE is not a REAL amiga ;-)

BTW, what is the error code of the software failure?
