Comments on 256b.com are back at last, but site looks abandoned - no new comments, oneliners, prods, even link for pouet sux. Download counters are unreliable. When submission mechanism will be available back?
Pirx: there is new comments, the onliner works and the download counters are working and reliable ( just go to any prod, download then refresh the page ).
Ok pouet's banner is borked. I'll fix the image tonight ( don't have access to the FTP from work ), the submission mechanism will be back when I have time to fix something the host broke.

Oneliner and comments work of course, but note quantity of them. One a week? That's sad. Download counters work too, but "previous month" isn't true for me, the numbers are similar for some months. Also I think complete archive should have individually counter, present mode makes that counts for each prod aren't so authoritative.

I installed some Windows updates recently and since then my ftp client timed out when trying to list a directory. I had to force it to passive mode. tsssk stupid M$ "patches"

The domain name was managed by Insomniac/Neon ( the original creator of 256b.com ) and I managed the hosting and site ... somehow.
When I renewed the hosting, the site worked for me for a few days or so, so I thought that things were fine.
I'm trying to renew the whole shebang. Will see how that goes and if I get some news today or Monday.

I'm not goodly with domain things. What is the best course of action to boot the domain hijacker ?
Aparently the domain expired September 7th 2008. If I' not mistaken there is 1-3 month period post the expiry of a domain name where the original owner can claim it back. Is that correct ? If so, I can't really handle this since the domain was registered by Insomniac.
Any help would be much appreciated.
