_-_-__: was really nice, hem?
't was nice, though I was thinking the light should have been 10x more powerful. In that case however I'd have been disgusted by the energy expense :D
Plus it's always nice to here some drones and typical ryoji ikeda glitches in "the real world" :)

to here == to hear
I hardly know Mr Ikeda.
I had understood that the sound would be generated by the ppl walking arounde the light...
Never the less, the beams were visible from far really away (at last 4th zone).

Ryoji Ikeda's pretty well known. Anyway the sound was produced by an array of speakers /around/ the piece. I guess what they mean by "generated by people walking around the light" is that you get a sort of doppler effect from moving around ;)
would be interesting to put smoke in that, too. ;)
yep, the bass and somkinda sonnar sound...
there were no smoke, but something like a mist.
What was beautiful (and unplanified, since it was natural =) was a short delicate rain, which gave an interesting waving rainbow effects.

maybe useful for pixelart!
neoneye: reminds me of some american painter I can't remember the name of.. he takes photos of people with some crazy giant camera, blows it up to a giant size (something like 2m * 2m) then overpaints it, amplifying all the small detail.. is it him? I think not, his work was colour and even stronger from what I remember, but these people tend to change style now and then :)
neoneye: who's the artist?
