Hmm, too bad I don't have the time to visit tUM. Especially as the organizers seem so friendly. Just check out this brilliant personal invitation that Bronix received some days ago: http://folk.uio.no/haavares/rot/fanmail.txt
;-)
Well, Slemmy... have you been to Breakpoint, or Symphony? Have you seen what Bronix was doing there? I personally agree with Fzool's letter! (Moreover, if I'd organize FLaG these days, I'd send him the same one!)

I've met Bronix at Kindergarden, Breakpoint, Roskilde and on several other occasions, and his incredible drunkenness has never really bothered me. If he gets annoying you can just ignore him and let him get on with his business (which usually consists of puking, sleeping or doing his little Michael Jackson routine). Most of the time he doesn't behave any worse than any of the other random drunks (myself included) at a party.
It is ofcourse up to the the partyorganizers to decide what kind of behaviour they'll tolerate and who they'll allow inside their party, but I think that sending a mail like this one is a bit over the top... Doesnt seem like anyones feelings got hurt though.. :)
brilliant personal invitation?

do you know what bronix had done at breakpoint and symphony?

we try to organize a party with our own money, and we spent alot of time doing it. and what i really do not want is to watch at bronix all the time.

Slemmy, will you watch at Bronix 24h at tUM? No? Do you ever organize a party? No? So stop talking bullshit, that we are unfriendly.

I am not responsible for the behaviour of bronix.

I am still waiting for an answer from him.

Anyway. People who knows me, know that i am not unfriendly. I try to help everyone who got problems to visit tUM.

If you got a problem try to catch me at IRCnet #tum. And ask me.

And yes this mail IS over the top! But isn`t Bronix behaviour too? Peeing or shiting into the hall, climbing on the tent at Breakpoint and so on?

fzool, stop being such a bitch.

slummy IS a partyorganizer and he knows bronix WAY better than you'll ever do. So do I. Bronix is actually quite easy to handle. He did NOT act all that bad at breakpoint either. If drunkness is a reason for being unwelcome at parties, please send me a mail as well. Oh, and the entire norwegian and finnish posse while you're at it. Hell, lets ban everyone, and see how cool your party will be.

i totally agree with fzools mail.

hehe, seems like someone got a little bit worked up over this..
just to answer some of your questions: I did see quite a lot of Bronix during Breakpoint, and except for attempts to get onto the stage to take a leak during the scene.org-awards (and then trying to piss on a circuitbox or something similar after Tobi stopped him) I didn't see him doing anything more extreme than simply being very drunk (most of the time outside). Dunno if he behaved any worse at symphony though..
And yes, I am actually a partyorganizer as well. I admit that Solskogen was (and will continue to be) a much smaller event than Breakpoint and tUM though, so you're bound to have a lot more to take care of than we did. I would, however, have no doubts about admitting Bronix (or anyone else who has even a remote interest in the scene) at our party. If they obey our rules they can stay. If they don't they'll have to leave.
That said, I wouldn't want the responsibility of watching after any drunken bastard 24h.. :)
I have never claimed that any of you are unfriendly, and from considering that you're involved in a positive non-profit activity such as demoparty organizing I've even got a positive impression of you without ever having met you.. Eventhough (or probably just because) the mail was quite rude I found it quite entertaining.
kusma, try to read the mail.

We have NOTHING against people who get drunk, make party, make fire, beeing loud etc. etc.

The mail (as i figured) is not really offensive, rather a caution-sign for Bronix, sort of something like, "do what you wish, but beware, if you do something wrong, we'll ownz0r j()()r ass".

Yeah, Bronix is easy to handle, but I guess that'd require some violence. I think you should quit talking bullshit. He's not expelled because of being drunk, that's of course not a reason. But well, would you welcome someone, who acts like an animal all the time (the wrong way), and shits here and there (for instance, behind the bar in the buffet) at some parties? No, I'd rather expel such a person. Either as a party organizer (before you ask, yes I am one), or a party visitor, I'd prefer Bronix out.

Slemmy:
If you think someone who'd urinating into different pieces of equipment, which are worth thousands of Euros, is quite normal, then you'd rather see a psychiatrist.

i do agree with the anti-bronix squad here - for the reason that what i saw of him at breakpoint just doesn't entertain me, it was all a rather silly sight; i'm not sure if it was him but at a moment we had to drag someone in a sleeping bag away from the campfire or else he would've burned to death; drinking is fine, but disrespect and alcohol-influenced behaviour causing severe irritation and/or consternation in general, leave it at home.

i'm not pro-discrimination though.. so let everyone come, and if any of them booze-fanatics gets funky, just break their face with a bat.

Booze fanatics have never been a problem as long as they don't ruin the party with anything stupid or extremely risky for someone, including themselves.

It's never fun to call ambulance, police or anyone who doesn't really belong to the scene atmosphere.
