Amigadudes stop weening! U can still use the f#@$n-fast amiga desktop again! It's available as a windowmanager on linux! It takes some tweakin with fonts & icons, but then it really beats all slow windowmanagers of linux (on a pentium 120)!

amiga os was pretty much based on unix anyway, so theres a lot that's similar. Linux with an amiga-like interface running on a machine with a custom chipset would almost be an amiga.

uh...not really. It's more the other way around.
For Amiga PCI expansionboards are available since several years. But I didn't ever heard of a f.e. Hypercom PCI version or a whole A1200 vanilla on a PCI board....
