Are NVScene tickets transferable? I could donate mine to someone, because I'm not coming and I have registered.

Am i right in thinking that a team can remotely enter a 4k? It must run at 1280x720 (other resolutions permitted but this MUST be included), Deadline would be the morning of August 25th.

Yes, you can remote submit a demo, and I believe the resolution was changed to 1920x1080, not sure about that one.

Imbusy: I don't know, you'll have to check with the ticket sales people.

Auld2: That resolution is okay since it is in widescreen (check the rules), but we would prefer a version that runs in full 1080p if possible. With 4k intros, you are allowed to create several executables, one for each resolution.

So the 4k intro compo (and afterwards the demo compo) starts at 18:00 USA time.. this makes

02:00 in holland.. there goes my night sleep (assumingly the compo's will be broadcasted live)

NOOOOO! I have an important meeting at work on wedensday = no compos for me in the night... snif.

While we will try to run it live, no guarantee has been given. The fallback is to record the whole thing and then DTV airs it some hours later, so that people in Europe have time to sleep at night. :)

gloom: that means seminars too, right??? I can't guarantee that I'll be sober for each one : D

gbnd: We're trying to get all the seminars on tape, yeah, but I can't promise they will be aired during the event, because there is only so much editing DTV can manage on-site.

So if I get the rules, at 4k the 1920 x 1080 version will be shown. Thats a shame, my 4k simply runs too slowly at this resolution.

I wouldn't worry about that too much, unless your 4k runs under 5fps on the demokit.
