Optimus: Getting a life is relative. Do what you want to do, but when people tell you you are wasting your time, it's better to find different people who DO appreciate you and share your interests.

I like reading some of your posts, but I don't read them all. Not because "I have a life" but because I want to do other things that interest me too and so does everyone else.

So I think you would feel better if you can develop lots of different interests instead of just pouet and computers. You will get to know more people (including women) if you learn to find common topics that you both like to talk about and the more you know about different things the more things you can talk about.

Optimus, if you don't want people butting in and commenting on your life perhaps it would be a good idea not to make so much of the detail public? Pouet wasn't put up on the web as your personal sandbox so you can't complain if people who have a different opinion use the same facilities in another way even if that way involves insulting you.

Carry on posting by all means, but don't bother complaining about people saying "get a life" or whatever because they've as much right as you to say what they're thinking.

Regardless of the fact that your life sucks, we actually don't care about it, so we don't want to read about it here.

It actually seems to me - in the short space of time I've been visiting pouet, that Optimus is in fact the centre of the universe!

Pouet lives revolve around Optimus' threads, whether anyone likes it or not.

Same reason why people were upset when the ART guys were flooding pouet with their "productions", circa spring 2003, if I remember correctly. Or the porn pictures on various topics in the bbs. Lamers are always annoying, especially if they spam the universe with their stupidity.


I do hope that for the majority of the pouet-world, greece is not synonymous with this arsehole. There are people over there who have done, silently, more for the scene, within a few weeks, than this person could ever do in his whole life (in qbasic or otherwise.. :-).


btw, I really think he should quit university (in reality he is "studying" the art of 'spending parental income' anyway) and kick-start a career in the greek army. The army is always in need of self-obsessed obese ignorants.
