Oh, and I find it quite revealing how some people are trying to make a "newschool vs oldschool" thing out of "ghettosceners who start wars on group names instead of doing anything of relevance suck", asking people to "take sides" etc. You are just trying to distract from the real topic at hand.
I don't see any kind of "newschool vs oldschool" issues inside the scene. Some people prefer artsy-fartsy stuff, some people prefer scrollers and chiptunes, and some people love both (which includes myself). It's a great thing of the scene we have this wide range of styles and tastes and platforms, and it's something that unites us.
And it doesn't have the slightest thing to do with what I (and others) tend to call ghettosceners, or with "wars on groupnames are silly", "abusing groupnames of once-famous but now dead groups is lame" nor "acting like you are 12 while you are 35".
To those who think people are on a personal warfare against them because they are "oldschool": Sure, playing the "we are a suppressed minorty"-card is much easier than having a look into the mirror and notice you are acting like immature assholes, and to acknowledge that the times don't matter on this at all - even 20 years ago the scene would have had a clear and simple term for you: lamers.

Well, with minor skills it shouldn´t have been that difficult to make a Scoopex shirt out of my MekkaSymposium98-shirt. Especially as I probably had 2 different jackets over it, cause it was fucking freezing cold at night. Make green shirtcollar black -> perfect Scoopex T-Shirt.

Hmmm, seems that someone in here don't have a real life and the think they are elitesceners ! I have some points to clear out now.Normally i hide in the Background, but now my time has come to type some words in here.
First i have to say that i'm active since c-64 times, but i give a fuck about oldskool newscool Sceners and so on.Also i never flamed around other people and Groups and i have big Respekt to all people who released something.
But i Rember that Bier drinking is allowed on Party.If you want to have a noisless Party then please allow only drinking water on partys.
But then only a few people will come to party.
I Remember a Bamiga Sector One Party(forgot the date) where a stripping girl pushed a Banane in his Pussy life on Stage.
I think thats more troubel than some People drinking some Beer on the parking Place.It was no scener who used the microphone at the Parking Place at Breakpoint 2008.
So Cars was Broken into days ago, but why noone was talking about that later.Also so much Relelases where lost and not shown, because the organizers have something against some Groups out there and cut the released out.

Between the People on the Parking place was some People from "MEXX" "POLKA BROTHERS" "Komplex" and some no sceners are in no Group.Only 2 People from scoopex was at the parking Place too.
No one has a Scoopex T-shit,and between.The Scoopex Slogan "Generation Ahead" was changed since years to Rangerism's still not dead.
I was not at the Parkingplace.As i come out of the entrance to get some Beer out of my car (Only 5 meters after the entrance) , some security People shot a foto from me and want to throw me out tof the Party !
NEXT TIME make clear who makes Trouble at the Parking Place and dont make Photos from People who come out frome the organizers Entrance Place and make some Photos and want to throw them out.
Also think about that all sceners who makes Release want to shown at the Party, because they payed a lot of money for the Entrance.
Now please make a new thread about the lost entries and some release was not shown, because some of organizers has something against some Peoples nose.Exatly this is the point, why some people stopped doind Demo Stuff years ago...............

I understand if English is not your first language, that it might be difficult. But referring to a strippers vagina as 'his pussy' made me laugh out loud at work.
And lost entries? I know there is some pre-selection going on at BP, but only to filter out the really crappy stuff or shorten a compo if there are too many releases. I can pretty guarantee that there were never releases disqualified because of personal grudges.

"lost releases" would be a big difference to "preselection". So which releases are we talking about?
Scamp: "misunderstanding" because you are confusing identities. I have never seen you face to face nor have you me (how else could it be). The ratio of Scoopex members to others on the parking lot must have been 1:10 (or whatever). Could it be that you're running a policy of "Sippenhaft" (a fitting German word with a very, very bad history)?
And please add a link to the photos of Scoopex members (plural! didn't know about Sir's home-made shirt) with Scoopex T-Shirts at BP08, so third parties get access to evidence. Thank you.
