yeah the devil in the woodwork of pouet. it was logical choosing that name for an internet troll as im muslim.
However the terms "islam" and "muslim" has just about lost their meaning. Go to lanes classic arabic dictionary and look up those 2 words. Islam is has always been devided, always, into 2 major branches, then into several destinct schools of thought within each branch, then the schools of thougt devided and so on and so forth, each indivdual cult convinced they are the be all understanding of Islam, and satisfied with what they have got.
If you want to get technical, the variation that is becomming dominating for various reasons is sunnah hanibali wahabi neo salafism, that is what is commonly reffered to as "islam" these days. I think i missed the memo making that oddball sunni cult the intellectual/religious and spiritual leaders of all muslims worldwide. I think they are a pest, a plague upon the face of the earth and a mental illness for which death is nearly the only cure.
I have had to fight my way out from the mental state in which tmplog and many that gets directly converted into wahabism are atm, and the first step is to isolate yourself entirely from the cult, and its influence over you. Then start to actually read the Quran. Its a nice take on a spirituality and a model for society that strongly resembles America as founded on its first constitution and bill of rights, but its hard to see for all the shitty hadith the Quran is being deliberately burried under by these sects.
Tmplog why are people not being taught to read and instructed in reading the Quran at the madressas? Why do they teach kids to parrot it in a language that is forreign to them? Why do you think that is, stupid white man?! They dont want the muslims to read the Quran and realise that they are being dragged around by the nose by their "brothers" who doesnt give a shit about them, or their destiny! YOu have been lured in to become an arabic 7th century nationalist, and if you read history, those are the guys they put in the front line you dullard.
