On 8th August, 2008, the Sensor Club hosts a bunch of international DJs and VJs to give the visitors of Evoke, as well as all interested party people, a worthy evening full of exquisite music and stunning visuals.

The Finnish drum'n'bass DJs Resound and glxblt are the internationale highlights of the evening. Resound from Tampere, also known as Krii, belongs to the big names of the European drum'n'bass scene, sporting numerous recor releases and an own radio show. Young glxblt will have the opportunity to show his outstanding talent with a fresh neurofunk set. Also, the evening will feature 2krazy from Berlin (in earlier times known as Desert/funk!), who did a lot to popularize dubstep in the German capital and beyond.

The (inter)national names of the evening are accompanied by various acts from the region. Desmond Denker will play a liveset of his bass-leaning sounds, Penelope and Napalm Dread will serve dubstep, uk dub and grime, Dexter Dub will spin some jungle vibes. Mr. Lagos will herald the evening with funk, soul and the likes, and Monkey Matters will end it with some pumping electronica.

As last year, Evoke visitors will be granted free entry, while the rest enjoys the evening for only 6 euros.

i think it was glxblt that did that awesome set at breakpoint beer tent this year.. no? my memory is abit blurry but i remember a finnish guy i didnt quite knew yet doing an awesome dnb djset :S

yes, it's him. and it was at breakpoint where we thought "damn, this guy has to be there." have fun!
