I wonder if anybody is still doing mailswapping these days? It used to be a nice feeling getting mail in your box with a personal letter, a disk and sometimes drawings.

People with friends occasionally get personal letters, yes.

elsewhere : that is correct, I do get mails from my friends at electricity / phone / interweb billing departments.
My bank also sends me monthly greetings including a nice listing of the latest items I swapped.

thanks to the guys who send me those plastic cards every week! I've ALMOST completed my card tower!

I've been told by zaac that an amiga diskmag was done around 2001 (if i'm correct), which was meant to be only swapped by mail, and * never to be released on internet *... the contract was that you had first to ask for it also by mail to someone, so that the mag was only ever spread by mail. at that time, zaac refused to copy it to me directly for that reason.
