How many of you have those USB keychain drives? What demos do you carry around on it?
I carry old textmode demos from TMDC. I also carry some of the all-time great 64k's, like .poemtoahorse and Heaven7.
Right now, Tom Thumb and Staying Pictures.
I keep a selection on there for those times when I have a computer + nothing much to do :) Heres a rundown:
256b: Lattice, Sucubus, Tube
4k: Just mojodreams at the moment
Intro: The Product, Candytron, Poem to a horse, Heaven7, Kurwacube, Eilostar, Project Genesis
Demo: Heart shaped box, 32 degrees in the shade, B10, De profundis, The popular demo, Chimera, Liquid wenn, Kosmiset avaruus sienet, variform
Music disks (always nice to have :): Whispers, Brullwurfel, Twisted chipster (my own version with tons of extra tracks :), Odd's Robots.
Just to make sure I'm covered for any situation :) I think to take proper advantage of these usb disks, you need stuff that runs in software, some art-style demos + coder demos + pop demos (in case you want to show people what demos are) and some good music disks.
It's also a good idea to format it as ntfs and enable compression, then you can leave the demos unzipped for easy access :)

Just right now nothing, but I should buy one of those USB disks soon, they will be quite helpfull to download stuff from netcafes and carry them till home in my pocket :)
Well, I think I'm going to buy one of these lil' usb things. It will come in handy when I have to transfer d/loaded demos from my studying place to my apartment.
I've had one for a while, they're damned useful. Just plug it in and it's there as an extra disk straight away. The only problem with them is if you need to use it on 9x machines - you need drivers. Seems the price is going up though - I bought one a few months back for ~€30, now it's €40-50 for similar one.
