Must be the most horrible looking desktop that I've seen for a while. Matrix the matrix background's gradients mix very badly with the Mac black/white, and the purple toolbar is... eww...

Nothing personal, but I think that it is very bad taste.

the purest desktop is just... blank. All data are displayed and programs launched through voice command.

That and I think Virtual Box's seamless mode is really kinda cool. Oh and don't worry, I clean off my desktop once a month.

micksam7: Oh god. Do I really see THREE "start-menu" bars? (two windows' and one kde4's?). You must have shitloads of RAM if you're running two virtual machines all the time. :D

masterm - Three bars? Yes, but you can only see them if the VM window is selected. :P Also I have 2 GBs ram and just put 512 MBs on both the VMs, plenty enough to go around! I don't leave them running all the time anyway. ;p

That reminds me when I was running hackintosh (osx86) natively with windows xp on parallels desktop. Worked very well but consumed much resources.

bittin : what's the name of the app you're using to get all the icons on the top bar? (like skype and stuff.) I'm looking for something like that for years.
And, beside, what's the app you're using to get those infos on the upper left?

I agree with rmeht, why have a wallpaper when it's covered by application windows anyway?

If you're wondering about my desktop: Take a standard XP install, switch to classic theme, extend the taskbar to three rows. There you go.
