um, right. am i, then, really the only one here who thinks that album is nothing special at all? i don't mean to offend anyone and wouldn't generally "complain" had it not been for knos' fanboyship.. but i hear XMs with bad samples that try and fail to sound like either chores or guitar riffs, playing melodies vaguely reminiscent of theme park / fantasy movie soundtracks, but fail to create any sense of theme, progression, emotion, or whatsoever. like telling a story which is about nothing at all.

it's not crap or anything, but ehm, am i missing something?

It's just your experience is so remote to my experience that I don't see how the gap can be bridge. I mean basically that every single part of your statement is in contradiction with it.

c64 scene is a alive and kicking, and pc scene is dead (atleast you folks here claim it).

so why should heatbeat change to pc scene??

knos, i feared such. i wrote it mostly hoping that it'd only partly contradict with your (or others') experience of it, so that you might be able to tell me why you disagree with the other half. but taste differs, and we like things in music for different reasons. so all is fine.

Kääntäkää englanniks jos haluatte tai vittu viittitte. Mun mielestä on tosi jees, että Aleksi julkaisee musaa ilmaiseksi(!) netissä. Oikeasti. Veikkaan että kyllä Aleksin tyyliselle musiikille löytyis varmaan joku joka julkaisee esim vinyylillä tai cd:llä mutta kunnioitusta äijälle että julkaisee netissä ilmaseks ja vielä jotenkin scenen kautta :D No kuitenkin, jos osaisin koodata tai jotain, tai edes designata niin kyllä varmasti käyttäisin jotain Aleksin biisei demossa esim tossa aikasemmalla avaruuslevyllä oli mukavia ralleja.
