Party doors open on the 20th of june, we'll ask everyone to go home kindly on the 22nd (yes, also in june).
More info's on the website and in the PC and C64 invitations.
If you're coming, do the planning department a favour and fill in the Registration Form.
KThxBye.

btw the partywebsite is a bit of a dejavu ;)
Partymeister ftw :)
Are there also bigi-burgers like we had on wired? And electroshocks due to wires all over the place? :)
It's "Bicky Burgers" ;-)
Yes, that was the only food we used at Wired! So damn good!
Anyway, I don't worry food-wise, we're in Belgium. ;-)
Electric shock at Wired; it was painful (first sense of the word) to connect/disconnect a computer from the network as the BNC connectors were electrified.
I work on weekends but I'll try to take a day off to attend Rewired...
Hopefully, not speaking flemish isn't an issue... :-/

i don't think they will beat up people who speak a real language ;)
Jacques Brel karaoke!!!!
Altho Karaoke would be an idea, we're not going to do it ;)
Just a question though, how to go by train/bus to the party place? i.e. from brussels... I watched on googlemaps and it seems there is no train station in that place or.. ?
Train
In 1874, the track from Hasselt to Maaseik was opened for traffic. Extension of this line into the Netherlands has been suggested, but was never completed. Transportation of passengers was discontinued in 1959, transportation of goods in 1979. In 1988, the track between As and Maaseik was replaced with a bicycle-path, where transport by ox, horse, dog and goatcart is also allowed.
In short: go by car, or be forced to go by bus.

I'd be happy if you wouldn't bash one of the loveliest Germanic language. It's so lovely that even my pals at Limp Ninja use it in their daily lives.
madenmann: there's nothing to bash, fact is that flemish is not a language but a (group of) dialect(s) of the dutch language, just like the "nedersaksisch" dialect that i speak, or the "afrikaans" you can hear in south africa.
to further underline my point, there's a weekly language-quiz-show which is broadcasted in both belgium and holland. in this show, a flemish and a dutch team compete. in about 80% of all cases, the flemish team wins (which probably explains why the show is popular in flanders and i think it sucks ;))

In short : Take a train to Genk, there take a bus. (Travel Info on website ) If enough people ask, we'll put in some kind of shuttle service from Genk, it saves a boring bustrip.

Ehr, wtf, "where transport by ox, horse, dog and goatcart is also allowed" ... and this is really 1988 we're talking about???? :-)
we went to breakpoint by goatcart.. cant you remember?
Maali: maybe we should have, then we wouldn't have had to steal some barb wire to fix the wipers :-)
you ingrates *waves fist*
earx: btw, are you still using that barb wire? :-)
never leave home without your macgyver kit!

Indeed, it's 1988, the ban on pigs, donkeys and mules wasn't lifted until november 1994, and thus people using such means of transportation were forced to use the main roads. The decreasing demand for pig, donkey and mule minced meat finally convinced local authorities to change regulations. :)
sparcus: no, but i'm considering buying one of those macgyver toolkits.
nice party place btw.
nice party place btw.
Should be able to visit, and perchance make something for the demo compo... although any RBBS production has the alcohol-votes already in the bag, so it's hard to compete against that :)
Ah you're no fun anymore :D
