Demoscene the joy of knowing the existence of people like me, who loves to create best things we can on the home computer, while most of the "normal" folks only use it for dull tasks or dumb entertainment.

But no matter how much we like demos and the scene spirit and creativity, there's always part of us "normies" who love internet forums just because they make us feel better about ourselves. :)

a curriculum vitae? sometimes - I got my first real job through the scene
a job? I surely hope not - but it is for some (party orgs for instance)
a way of life? at times it feels like it. Other times it feels I'm way too old for this.

For me it is the most complete form of digital art I know, there is the factor of being in contact with people of similar interests and outside the mainstream and the best part is the non-commercial attitude.

It's the best current art form for me.
