Kefrens project
Well it is time to announce that Kefrens will be alive again, maybe not like before, but the king Kefren has resurrected himself again :D
This is the new homepage, that is just started, and it will be updated as time goes:
www.kefrens.dk
I hope you all old demo folks and maybe new demo folks out there will love the project as it goes along in process.

now the question is, will there be melons involved? :D
I guess the question is: Who cares? Anyone except #amigascne that is.
Welcome back -- now; make that new demo that (the mighty) Andromeda has dared you to. :)
stefan: anyone except #amigascne cares? not bad for an old amiga group I guess.
Welcome back. Something tells me that if/when there will be a new Kefrens release, you might join the short list of groups who back up using a prestigious old name with actual quality productions; see Fairlight & Andromeda. I probably don't need to mention examples of the opposite.. :)
that is excellent Mellica, looking forward to see the king back to "life" again. And since it is you writing i take it that it is the "original" Kefrens we are talking about?
nice :)
Nice indeed!
And it was only a while ago when you said that demomaking is over for you.. ;) Welcome back.
Thanks all.
Well, as I wrote: “I can not promise anything”, only that Kefrens will be located on the net now :)
Andromeda has dared me for sure yes, but we will see what happens ;)
If a demo is coming for the old school, it will only be there for fun and to honour the old school stuff :P
@Stefan: Who cares and who cares not, is not a big deal for us, because we are doing it for the pure fun of it.
@Iblis: Yes old Kefrens, New Kefrens, Very New Kefrens, does it matter :D
@StringRay: Melon Dezign involved, well not at the moment as I look around me desktop, but who knows what the good old Seen is doing these days. I have nothing personal grouch on good old Melon that is for sure ;)

no it does not matter, but the name was involved with one of the coolest wars on the scene, so i guess i had my hopes up....oh well...

Glad to see you are still working from the 1990s.
My balls just jumped back up their sockets!
Go guys, and bring back the spirit. :)
Hopefully Kefrens won't be going PC in their return...
Although, I don't know why I'd think that.

@Shifter: Hehe well it is just to indicate it is not finished yet, I will remove it soon enough.
@Krang: I don’t think we will do any PC stuff, even if I know this better now a day. I have not touch Amiga since 1992 so it was hard for me to code again in 68000, but I have managed after 1 week to do 3D vector and Star fields, Raster/Vertical blank color sinus routine, and some Vertical color wave sinus routine.
I have not coded any BOBs, can not remember how I did it, but I am reading the old hardware Ref. manual so I guess I will come to that part. Just clearing the screen with the Blitter gave me some irritation moments, because I have forgotten a lot of stuff since that time. But I have solved it by now.
But I can tell you, it is fun to try it again, I can not explain why it is fun, it just is, and it is sort of good to try it again. To see if my old brain can handle all that old school coding stuff.
But thanks for all your kind words.

Mellica: Not to sound stupid, but in my duty of "promoting the danish scene" *cough* I must point you to this URL:
http://www.demo-scene.dk/?menu=Party
And remind you that this bustrip to next edition of Breakpoint will be just as much fun as last year (hopefully) :)
Other than that - cool to see some of the "old" guys back - no matter the level of activity.
