a side note: in both us and eu, you can't patent algorithms since they are mathematical truths. but you can change the wording to "technique".
I've just patented patents.
I've just patented the spacetime continuum. Every single particle activity, molecular reaction or radiation emission is therefore a violation of my intellectual property. My lawyers will contact you soon.
Tom74wy3R is at ya bizz..
Correct me I'm wrong. Roger Penrose (Junior), a british mathmatician, patented "penrose tiles" and he gets money for toilet paper with that pattern, and those are what I would call mathmatical truths. :|
I think he patented the tiles, rather than the truths.
Although, Penrose tiles remind me a LOT of Q-Bert.
US patent #5458732: Method for submitting a post to an internet bulletin board by typing the message using your fingers and clicking on a button labeled "Submit" using a screen pointer device.
All your patents are belong to us !
Sorry : US. :)
xernobyl: it's not a patent, it's a copyright over an artistic work (use of certain pattern for aesthetic tiling). all works of art are automagically copyrighted to the creater at creation time. patents are only given to inventions (australian ip laws are exception it seems).
