Favourite comedians and comedies
category: offtopic [glöplog]
I'm kind of curious to know who your favourite comedians are. Many Europeans, and especially Germans, are stereotyped as having no sense of humour but I'm guessing they just have a different sense of humour.
I noticed from many of the Shane threads that a lot of people here generally didn't "get" his sense of humour. Some of the references ParaPete comes up with make me laugh too, but it seems like some aspects of British humour is not understood or just not funny to some Europeans.
Now I'm not saying you can define humour as British or German etc. I mean, Ricky Gervais and Carry On Movies are polar opposites, but I'd like to get some idea what comedians or what comedies people follow here.
