I play a Hagström 1968 HIIB bass through a Fender Bassman 2x12 cabinet and an angry old Orange amp. But that was probably not the kind of info you wanted...

oops, I ment it´s easIER to mixdown on headphones than on those tannoy crap...
I always hated mixing on headphones.. but it must be coming from the fact mine sucks :(

Speaking of monitoring, I would say that monitors is like sex. You can't tell what it really is until you got real ones :)
Well, just kidding ;) I mean that the first thing I would advice to anyone getting into music and sound (like most of us) is to go and buy FIRST real pro monitors (Genelec, Dynaudio, Studer, KRK...).
It can be expensive but that's relatively fair compared to what making music used to cost before. A computer, monitors and a soundcard/controller is all you will probably need to start and do some good work !

orb: Nice of you to say so, but it's Flipside's studio you are looking at (even though he did get some of that gear from me :) - we are actually building a dedicated studio now, and that will actually look impressive (and not like a messy guestroom like the current one does)
gloom: amazing :)
Bestest \o/
haha I also caught it :) 4 strings small guitar! (I won't say it's a ukulele because of the shape and I dunno about the nylon strings)
unforunately all unused since i'm not doing music anymore... :/
Woah, nice custom TB.
