I never said this picture has any use whatsoever regarding animal mistreatment on its own, nor kids getting killed for nothing on its own, nor the presence of wars on its own.

I maintain, and am absolutely confirmed right by the sheer amount and foolish gravity of the reactions the picture elicits, that the "cute" kitten has a terribly wrong place in most human minds. The cat is cute. The kid goat or calf is not. This is wrong.

Does that mean this picture is not painful? Of course not, but medicine is bitter my friend. After the cure it can be put in a drawer never to be seen again.

If for you there is no distinction at all (which I find hard to believe) between any of the (more developed) animals of this planet, including the human race, and you were pained by the picture in an uniform way (which is a bit less hard to believe), then I'm honestly sorry you've seen it eventhough I didn't post it.

The difference between a kitten burned alive and suffering humans or animals killed as food is, that the kitten cannot defend itself against a human beeing, while humans can defend themselfs. And animals killed as food are usually intoxicated to not feel the pain - and if you don't in most modern societies you get prosecuted for cruelty to animals. And they are killed so people have food on the table.

The kitten was killed only because the one filming it enjoyed it a lot. And posting the pictures forced everyone seeing them to join that sick bastard in his joy.
