i always did my linux code with just emacs.. then again they were all very small projects, not more then a couple sourcecode files. that kdeveloper looks decent enough for the visual studio habitues..
kate, with some plugins.. although i may try kdevelop some day..

for those who are already annoyed of kdevelop crashing and behaving weird all the time i suggest eclipse + cdt plugin
I've used KDevelop and at least I liked it and didn't have any problems
