your favorite all time computer musician and the reason why?
category: general [glöplog]
hope this is no repost and wont disturb anybody. I'll start.
Musician: hunz
My opinion/reason:
Because, he does arrangements nobody did before. Also he composed songs for nearly every musicstyle. Not only those actual acid/techno/rave/house or whatever stuff. Singing himself in the songs and using voices as instuments. Remembers me characteristics of my own musician.
He has set an new standard to tracker modules on PC, mid to end of the 90ies. With buzztracker in 2000 he actually did songs that sound like real studio songs. But, they still have scene roots. This was the proof for me that sceners music can make progresses. Tough I rarely heard songs that reached the quality he set in popular demo productions. He is active as a graphic designer now.
The songs never really stepped out in the light of the demoscene. No matter how brilliant they are. They don't seem to be scene compatible.
Actual webs:

@scene.org (I still have a lot more songs and posted some of them on plopbox):

Not needed to write reasons for the masses. I want to know your opinion/reason!
If you think this is spam than just delete it. :D

my vote would go to Little Bitchard tho, he's damn allround stylewise, good as hell and a nice chap irl too :)
Reed
reason:
Not sure... when i'm looking around in my collection of mods, my mouse always seems to land on his stuff... Then i'm hooked for the rest of the day. I guess its just got the right energy, its happy, puts me in a good mood, and its got style... :)

anteeksi neiti, mutta voisitteko lainata kupillisen sokeria? / jumalauta
Because I have always wanted to lend sugar to people but all the other musicians sucked.

prince. or adamski. aka adam sky. aka whatever made him turn active again and use resid.
Muffler, because his tunes got me hooked to drum and bass
besides okkie, i also like anything malcolm mclaren promotes
It`s so hard to pick only one.. Audiomonster as Shane mentioned was amazing.. although if I was to select one it would be Some1(aka Some1&Morrow, Some1&Prime, etc) .. His amiga stuff was awesome but his multichannel tracker stuff is breathtaking!!
(but also Chromag, Soul, Brainbug, Supernao, Jazz, Reed, X-Ceed and on and on) :)

all the musicians whose awesome tunes i've used without asking them :>
Musicman ofcourse.
No questions about it.
This man can do increadable work!!!
they don't call him musicman for nothing... he has worked with pro's like dennis pop and max martin. He did some stuff in Japan with some dudes to, got lots of money... invented some cool production techniques, basiclly invented modern popmusic by his own. He can play every instrument, do any type of song on any type of computation platform, everything from gabber to italo disco.
Hard to beat.
And oh yeah.. he got some bad ass sunglasses too, just like me!

Mortimer Twang/Ageemablues and Sumo Lounge/Moppi both know how to make incredible chillout tunes.
